A Georgia ambulance for most of its life, it served the town of Athens, Georgia. Upon its retirement from active duty, the ambulance was restored in the early 2000s and owned by several ambulance enthusiasts over the ensuing years. In 2016, the ambulance made its way north. It has been garage-kept since. The ambulance has all of the lights, sirens, emergency equipment, front and rear heat and ac. The ac is in-op, but complete. Powered by the Cadillac 472 cubic inch V/8 and automatic transmission. The ambulance runs and drives as it should. This is a nice example of a classic ambulance, and it shows nicely on a nearly twenty-year-old Resto. There are a few minor chips and scratches and a small dent on the lower portion of the front door on the right side.
