Vehicle Description

Zoom Classic Cars presents this 1948 Ford Deluxe 2 Door Sedan. This mild custom Ford had it's Flathead 8 engine rebuilt about 10 years ago by the previous owner and has been driven less than 500 miles since. Original 6 Volt system. 3 speed on the column manual transmission. Restoration work included the following: Electronic ignition, rebuilt carbs, newer Offenhauser aluminum heads, rebuilt starter, rebuilt generator, new gas tank and sending unit, new clutch and pressure plate, new transmission, new throw-out bearing. Current owner had new head gaskets installed. Beautiful bright red repaint that was done 20 years ago but still shines like new with only a few minor imperfections as shown. All the body panels are solid and line up nicely. All the Chrome and stainless is in very nice condition. Very clean Black interior with bucket seats in front and rear. Beautiful chrome dash in excellent condition with full gauges including aftermarket tach (needs to be re-wired), Pioneer AM/FM with CD player and working dash clock. Car has been nosed and decked, the front grille is custom with the original bumper removed and additional Chrome strips added. Custom nerf bars have replaced the bumper in the rear. Very nice custom pinstriping as shown. The trunk is very clean and solid and has an opening to plug a radio to a 12 volt battery if desired. Clean undercarriage with dual exhaust chrome tips exiting on the sides of the car. Custom aluminum Progressive wheels mounted with tires in excellent condition with plenty of tread. New drum brakes and wheel cylinders. Car has always been garaged and regularly serviced by the current owner. A real nice Ford Cruiser that is turnkey and ready to enjoy.
