Powered by an 8 cylinder 7580cc engine getting power to the road through a 3 speed automatic transmission this Shadow drives as good as it looks starting, stopping, shifting, and turning flawlessly. Aside from small factory-improved upon maintenance such as a stronger fuel pump than the notoriously weak spec piece, this car is all original. Both exterior and interior are in outstanding condition with gorgeous beige leather interior, covered by a commanding grey & brown two-tone exterior, both with some very light hairline cracks, expected from a car of this age. Some of the age induced mannerisms of the Rolls include a very slight transmission fluid & coolant leak, a muffler that appears to have been replaced earlier in it’s life, and some very minor dashboard quirks. The current owner bought the Shadow from the original owning family who passed along tons of paperwork including the original bill of sale, and multiple trophies the car won when it was showed in the mid 2000’s. Accordingly, the current owner employed the skills of a long-time Rolls Royce mechanic for an inside out inspection who verified the car as an absolute superb surviving example that shows meticulous care and maintenance through its years.
