Don’t let the name fool you; this build is a calculated, high-horsepower street machine designed for both show-stopping presence and brutal reliability. The Heart of the Beast: Under the hood sits a built 355 SBC pushed to a formidable 600 HP. The centerpiece is a polished 6-71 BDS Blower topped with two freshly rebuilt, boost-referenced Holley double pumper carburetors. This setup is fed by a complete Holley fuel system and kept cool by a heavy-duty four-core radiator with an electric fan and shroud. Performance Tech: Includes Boost Timing Control ignition, an O2 sensor with an A/F ratio gauge for precision tuning, and a brand-new Holley polished water pump. Clean Build: To maintain a sleek engine bay, all ignition systems and relays have been professionally relocated inside the cab under the dash, with the battery tucked securely under the seat. Drivetrain & Suspension: "Fugly" is built to put power to the pavement. It features a built TH400 transmission with a manual valve body and a 2800 stall, controlled by a sleek Lokar shifter. Rear End: A rugged 12-bolt rear end equipped with a brand-new Powertraxx differential (similar to a Detroit Tru Trac), Moser axles, and a Spicer driveshaft. Stance & Handling: The frame features a mini C-notch to accommodate the lowered profile. The rear is dialed in with QA1 triple adjustable shocks, trailing arms, and an aftermarket panhard bar. Footprint: It sits aggressively on enormous 18" Thompson tires in the rear, providing the bite needed for 600 horses. The Cockpit & Comfort: Inside, the truck is a total departure from its rugged exterior. The brand-new black interior has been fully treated with sound deadener and fresh carpet. Seating: High-quality leather bench seat. Instrumentation: Modern Dolphin gauges keep track of all vitals. Audio: A full Pioneer sound system including head unit, speakers, tweeters, two 8" subwoofers hidden behind the seat, and a dedicated amplifier. Brakes & Steering: Despite its vintage look, this C-10 drives with modern confidence. It features a power steering and front disc brake conversion utilizing a CPP master cylinder and booster.
