1955 Chevrolet 3100 Task Force Stepside Pickup brought to you by Zoom Classic Cars. This 2nd Series Chevy PU went through a full restoration where everything except the cab and frame were replaced - all new inner and outer fenders, new all metal bed, bumpers, trim and all the mechanicals. 3000 miles since the restoration was completed. Situated in a very clean chromed out engine compartment, the truck features a 383CI Stroker V8 engine with Holly Sniper, aluminum heads, Corvette exhaust manifolds helping to produce 430HP!. Engine is backed up with a 700 R4 automatic transmission with Overdrive and shift kit. 4 Wheel disc brakes all around, Ford 9 inch POSI rear end with 3:73 gears. Other features include power steering, power brakes, tilt chrome steering wheel and AC. Gorgeous custom tan leather interior with bucket seating, embossed Chevrolet logos and color coded dash. Beautiful Custom Metallic paint applied by Angel's Touch Auto Body in Bourne, MA. Color is a custom variant of the Corvette Daytona Sunset Orange. All mechanicals on the car done by airline mechanic and everything in the car works as it should. All the chrome and badging is intact and new including bumpers front and back. New beautiful oak bed accented with stainless steel strips. Undercarriage is very clean with no evidence of rust anywhere and features 2 and 1/2 inch dual exhaust exiting the rear through custom chrome exhaust tips. Truck rides on custom Chrome American Racing Wheels. Car is currently stored in Martha's Vineyard, MA with clean MA title. Loads of documentation and receipts for everything that went into the build.
